Koko Crater Botanical Garden

Koko Crater Botanical Garden

On our way back to Christina’s

A quick stop to a botanical garden near our AirBNB.

Located on the arid NE side to the Koko Crater caldera with an old collection of plants from around the world

A threatened plant doing well at this dry location.

One of the few truly readily recognized native species. Today, most Hawaiian plants we see are brought here.

A huge grove of this favorite Hawaiian flower florishes here.
